March 19, 2009 - Western Arkansas Lightning and Doppler Radar

Here are a couple of lightning shots from near Dyer on I-40. I only saw 5 flashes and 2 strikes and I caught them both.

Later that afternoon I went up to Tulsa to the Natioanl Weather Service with 40/29 Meterologist Ross Ellet. We were doing a story for our upcoming severe weather special and we were even allowed up into the Doppler Radar...here are a few pics...
