November 2, 2010 White Oak Creek Fall Colors

I hiked down to the waterfall I found in the summer on North Fork White Oak Creek. This waterfall is pretty far down a big drainage so it runs most of the time but we did have a little bit of rain that had it running a little better.



I caught a couple of lightning strikes from the storms that morning.


On the 3rd I hiked up West Fork Horsehead Creek to some pools I had found to get some water reflection fall pictures.


On the 6th I hiked up the main fork of Horsehead Creek (the part that flows over the low water bridge at Horsehead Lake). I found several nice waterfalls but it turns out they are all on private property. There were a few nice spots on Horsehead Creek before the private land boundary. The very last picture is only a few feet on private land.
