Welcome to realclearwx.com

This is the home page of storm chaser Brian Emfinger. You can view pictures, watch video, and read recaps of some of Brian's storm chasing adventures as well as having quick access to the latest weather information.

I am in the process of updating the look of the site and some pages will reflect the old look while some will have the new look.

The Benton County Supercell (its beginnings)

On March 12, 2006 the central part United States suffered a severe weather and tornado outbreak. When all the damage surveys are done Missouri alone may have seen 75+ tornadoes. Tornadoes also affected portions of Illinois, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. In Northwest Arkansas several tornadoes were produced by the same parent storm.
